Syntasa 8.2

Syntasa version 8.2 was focused on improving the stability and usability of the user interface along with a few other updates and changes to help make a better user experience.

Improvements

  • Interactive API service now includes all necessary classes.
  • Superset upgraded to version 4.1.1 with enhanced map visualization and event logging options.
  • Adobe Analytics API updated to version 2.0 with OAuth and JWT authentication.
  • Global runtime scripts and Spark configs are now supported across infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Dataflow workflow stability is restored after JS-Plumb update.
  • Dashboard screen alignment issues with sectioned tabs are fixed.
  • Notebook form error labels now display correctly after Angular upgrade.
  • Folder creation and edit screens have the correct design after Angular upgrade.
  • Angular upgrade UI inconsistencies, including buttons, dropdowns, and spacing, have been corrected.
  • Job modal and dialog UI issues are resolved.
  • Sidebar navigation now applies the active class correctly across the application.
  • UI accessibility improvements implemented, including better screen reader support and keyboard navigation fixes.
  • Automated email notifications are triggered correctly for scheduled reports.
  • User role-based permissions are fully enforced across dashboards and reports.
  • CSV and JSON exports now retain the correct data formatting and column order.
  • Backend API performance improved for large dataset queries.

Other Fixes

  • Error messages for test connections are properly cleared when changes are discarded or connection type is changed.
  • Environment variables are now properly loaded in the application runtime.
  • Session expiration warnings now appear correctly before automatic logout.
  • Data pipeline execution logs now display complete error messages for easier debugging.
